See You Be Brave

Gotta love short weeks! Here's my five for this week:

one. Monday was a holiday in Canada, which meant I had the day off work. It was also the day that Andrew and I came back from Vancouver. After a day of being home, I realised how much I missed my city. I love Toronto!
two. Catching up with friends at the bar.
three. I love when friends randomly come over!
four. I picked up some banana bread this week. I'll be completely honest: my banana bread is way better.
five. Our last day in Vancouver, we had amazing gelato. Like, amazing. It makes up for the crappy banana bread.

There's literally only one other person in the office with me today. I know what I'll be doing today at work.. not much!

    when you buy banana bread and then buy it, you really realize how much store-bought sucks! welcome back; i love toronto too and wouldn't live anywhere else (unless that anywhere else is a beautiful beach) :)

    I hate when I purchase baked goods and they just aren't...good. Lame. The gelato looks delish though!

    Homemade anything is way better, huh? I bet anything we make beats practically everything we buy or get at a restaurant. I totally wanna visit Canada :D and I have yet to have a *good* serving if gelato. Thanks for sharing, Alex!!

    You're gorgeous!!! And I love the top you're wearing, purple is such a good color on you!!! While that banana bread looks great, everything homemade is usually better. I think when you buy something like that it's a hit or miss type thing. Isnt it amazing how sometimes you get antsy to get away from where you live yet when you get home you say there's nowhere else you'd rather be?
