"Just give me a reason. This has a been quite a week for the U.S.; I'm sure I don't need to go into details about why. In my mind, the U.S. and Canada will always stand resilient together against senseless violence and terrorism.
Just a little bit's enough.
Just a second we're not broken, just bent,
And we can learn to love again."
- Pink ft. Nate Ruess; Just Give Me A Reason
Here's to hoping that all of our weekends will be safe and happy, as well as the rest of our days.
one. Night flights with my other half. If you look carefully, you'll see the runway.
Andrew let me fly for a bit. Just fyi, I'm not cut out to be a pilot.
two. Southwest chicken bake. Mmm. Comfort food at its best!
three. Late night walks with Andrew; stopping in at Starbucks for drinks.
four. My disappointed, "I'm seriously wearing a jacket with this skirt?" face.
It was supposed to be 23 degrees Celsius the other day (about 73 degrees Fahrenheit).
It wasn't even close.
five. Another sleepover with that beautiful girl.
Have a great weekend!
Oh my gosh- recipe pleasseee!! That Mexican Cheese Bake looks to die for. And what a cute pup!! Is she a shepard?
ReplyDeleteI have been obsessed with "Just Give Me a Reason" since I first heard it, I really love the instrumentals. Also, I go to Starbucks specifically for something with that whipped cream on it...just delicious. Is Andrew a pilot?
ReplyDeleteI still can't really wrap my mind around just flying all the time because my boyfriend is a pilot with a plane. Damn. And you are much braver than me because I never would have flown, unless everyone wanted to die. Then yea, let me have a go. xx
ReplyDeleteEek! Flying a plane?!?! Night flying totally scares me bc I'm a control freak and a chicken and can't see anything! However, if it was with my bf I would totally be down! High five for allies!
ReplyDeleteHappy friday
The Mexican cheese bake looks incredible!! I always want Mexican food! That's so awesome Andrew let you fly!! I can't imagine how fabulous it must feel!
ReplyDeleteI'm wishing you both a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

ReplyDeleteNight flights are AMAZING. Granted I've only watched night flights done through the simulator but they look wonderful. That is something I'm excited for!
It's 70 here today but cloudy...boo. It would be perfect if it as sunny. You're beautiful though :)
Whose puppy is that/ I want to meet him/her...so pretty!!!
My husband flies RC planes, and he would freak if he got to fly a real plane! Flying at night is pretty incredible.
