A Weekend of Friends and Food

This was an awesome weekend of food and friends.

Saturday.

Andrew and I went out to dinner with my BFF, Kat, and her fiance.

We enjoyed a four course meal for $15!

After dinner, we went to their place for drinks and an impromptu photo shoot with their dogs. One of which sneezed while in the middle of said photo shoot (thanks Beamer).

Sunday.

We met up with Kat and DK in the morning for a French onion soup event. For a donation, you get to fill a Tupperware container with soup! I failed to take any meaningful photos so that's all you get of that event. My bad.

I ducked out to go to a brunch where I had waffles that were literally drenched in syrup. So drenched that I couldn't eat them. Gross.

After brunch, I met up with Andrew and Rudy to head to my friend's superbowl party. We decided to pick up wings to bring the party. The pub we stopped at had that cardboard cutout and I had to take a picture of Andrew in it.

At the party, the girls pretty much ignored the game.

We gorged ourselves on some really good food and cupcakes!

We also enjoyed some really good drinks and took too many photos. We gushed over Bruno Mars and had an all around great night.

The best part? I'm not hungover this morning. Win.

  12. Umm..those cupcakes look amazing, did one of your friends make them? Sam loves sports of all kind, and they were showing the Superbowl on TV in the UK at the same time that they were showing it in America. Meaning he stayed up all night (drinking beer). Maybe it makes me unpatriotic, but I just went to bed... x
