Toronto Raptors Meet & Greet and Relaxation

You know those mornings where you wake up and you really don't want to go into work because the thought of staying in bed just seems so much more appealing? Yeah, that's me every morning too (especially Monday mornings). Then I walk into work and I'm greeted by some pretty amazing co-workers and the feeling goes away. You know, until I hit the 3 o'clock wall and I'm ready to go back to bed. Anyway, weekend recap time!

Friday.

On Friday, Andrew and I went to the Toronto Raptors Meet and Greet at the Real Sports Bar and Grill with our friend Javid (who hooked us up with the VIP tickets).

There we met Greivis Vásquez.

Got his autograph.

Enjoyed food and drinks.

Watched the game from the upstairs lounge area (we won, by the way. Go Raptors!).

Took some photos together.

Then roamed Toronto to find another pub after the game. It was a really, really good night.

Saturday.

The rest of the weekend really couldn't be topped by Friday night so it was taken pretty easy.

My dear friend, Eliane, is getting married in July. A few weeks ago, she asked me to be her bridesmaid. Of course, I said yes. Saturday we had intended to go bridesmaid dress shopping but we really just spent our time together eating and catching up. Hey, whatever works!

My evening was spent at home with Andrew and his friend Rudy.

After an hour long walk with Misty, we were starved. Naturally, pizza was the obvious solution.

Sunday.

Andrew is a gem, really. He cooked up a storm for Rudy and I (who spent the night) including that yummy pasta dish.

The rest of the night was spent cuddling with Misty and relaxing. Yes, I do dress like a bum when I'm at home. Thanks for noticing.

How was your weekend?

  7. My weekend was not as cool as yours! Oh man, if the activities that you get into aren't enough it's the FOOD you eat. My goodness.. I want everything. I want your wings, I want whatever wrap that was on Friday night.. I want it all!!
What did I do this weekend? Hmm... I did a ton of cooking on Sunday to prepare for this week's dinners and Alina's lunches. LOL.. You asked! ;) Oh wait! We had a fire in the backyard on Friday night, listened to music and had a couple of beers. It was relaxing and wonderful.

  8. I dress like a bum at home too. The first thing I do when I get home after walking Pippa is change clothes. All that food looks amazing! Looks like y'all had a good weekend. :)
