I've Been Missing the "New Friday"?

I love four day work weeks! I'm sad that, after this week, work weeks go back to normal and there are no statutory holidays for us until Christmas! This means I'll probably take a couple days off work in November. Just because.

Here's my five for this week!

one. date nights. Andrew and I enjoyed a lovely date this week.
two. food. Andrew was late for said date, so I ordered for him. He had a yummy olive pizza (I hate olives. He loves them) and I had that pasta!
three. Les Miserables. Our date was spent seeing Les Miz! Andrew had bought me tickets for it for my birthday and I couldn't wait to see it. The production was amazing!
four. nacho dip. I'm happy that my first attempt at a nacho dip was successful! We finally finished it (from Thanksgiving) last night.
five. internet. Yes! At last! I finally have home internet! Last night, the tech actually came and installed it. I'm happy to report that it's working well! But, we had to head out last night and didn't get to enjoy it for too long. We're such busy bees!

What was the first thing I did when I got internet? Went on Youtube, of course!

This might be the worst possible song to #backyourazzup to, but this is one of the first things I saw on Youtube. (I'm probably the last person who's seen this but I had to share anyway.) Apparently, it's being referred to as the "new Friday." Ah, Rebecca Black. You've forever changed the way of the music for wealthy kids whose parents have way too much money.

Just FYI, I plan to make a video of how much I love Indian food. Andrew can play the chef (even though he's not Indian. Minor detail). Donations to make the video look awesome are always accepted.

I'll be famous by next week!

Joking aside, have a great weekend everyone!

  2. I would LOVE a 4-day work week! I'm out of vacation days so I don't get another day off until Thanksgiving. Wah! P.S. You and Andrew are clearly meant to be together based on the HIMYM olive theory. So cute. :)
