Friday night. Andrew and I were snuggling together at the drive-in. Then bam. Sneezes. Nose dripping. Eyes watering. And I. Can't. Stop. Coughing.
That night, I drugged myself up with Robitussin and went to bed. I woke up on Saturday, still feeling like shit, but I was determined to not let it bring me down. Hot shower and more drugs. I was out the door, ready to go shopping with the girls. Two hours into our shopping trip, I was calling Andrew, asking him to come pick me up. I swear I was about to pass out. Because he's amazing, he came. He bought me soup and orange juice and by 4pm, he was tucking me into bed.
Two hours later, he was kissing me on the forehead and saying bye. Oh yeah. He was leaving again for another military course. He'll be gone until Friday.
So there I was, all alone and sick.
Waking up Sunday, I didn't feel much better, so I parked my butt on the couch to watch stupid movies on NetFlix and kick butt in some Xbox games.
I woke up groggy and with a nasty cough this morning, but
Suffice it to say that I apologise for the lack of pictures this weekend.
FF6 at the drive-in |
We saw Fast and Furious 6 and Hangover 3 at the drive in.
Both were alright, but not amazing.
Interesting beers we had before the movies |
I had the Flying Monkey. It was actually pretty good.
Because no post is complete without a cute picture |
We also went for a car ride with that gorgeous dog.
She loves car rides.
And my lap.
Oh no!!! Not a fun weekend. I hate getting sick on weekends. Since weekends are meant for being laid back usually, it makes you feel even worse. During the week there's work or school and so whether you call in or not, you still have that energy in you that you want to just bring out, you know? At least thats how Ive always felt. Do you get sick often?
ReplyDeleteBrian wants to go to a drive in. There's one about 25 minutes away he wants to try. Those beers do look interesting. Is it like a Toronto thing? I've never seen them around here but maybe I havent looked hard enough.
If Bailey could read this, I think he'd get a little too excited about the words "car ride" who doesnt love them!!! Does Misty just stay on your lap? Granted Baileys smaller but he just cant sit still in the car!
I hope you're feeling better, that sucks you were sick for the weekend! Your dog is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteOh girl , get better soon . I can't take it when it comes to sneezing :/
ReplyDeleteYou have a cutieeeee dog :)
