H54F: Rain, Snow, Hail Away!

I woke up a few times last night to Mother Nature banging on my window.
No, I don't want you here, wind, snow, hail and rain.
Bring me some sun, please!

two. On the advice of Kat, I finally made cabbage soup!

three. Went to Ikea. Got lost. Forgot why I went.

four. Got my first Ipsy Glam Bag.
Tried the eyeshadow today.
 I love it!

five. While at the gym, I was told my braided hair made me look like a child.
(My hair is too layered to deal with a braid, hence the mess.)

 Crossing my fingers for sunshine this weekend! It's pouring cats and dogs as I type this.

H54F: Time to Relax

This has been a busy week for me at work. Our annual meeting is coming up in the middle of May, so I'm prepping all the invites, making sure our RSVP list is in order, mailing the invites out and calling clients. I absolutely love when it's busy at work. But, of course, I put some time away for this blog.

I'm also excited to spend the weekend relaxing! Today I'm linking up with Lauren for High Five For Friday and Ashlee and Andrea for Follow Friend Friday.

one. Andrew took me to an amazing steak restaurant called Harbour Sixty for our anniversary.

We had the entire restaurant to ourselves. It was perfect.

Our waiter offered to take our picture for us.

I'm a classy girl. Obviously.

two. I curled my hair for said dinner. First time curling my hair with a curling iron!

three. Got a back massage. It was amazing. 

Tearing my shoulder and pulling something in my back?

Not so amazing.

four. Had a sleepover with that lump.

five. Changed the banner on my blog and did some layout changes to it!

Still have to fix a couple things.
