Hibernation is Boring

I was convinced that this would be the weekend where I would go into hibernation. The weather on Friday was miserable. It was -32C with the windchill (that's -25 fahrenheit) and I was not about to go anywhere.

I was content watching Misty enjoy her new bone.

And eating yummy wedding cake and cupcakes that Savio brought us.

So, when I woke up on Saturday, I figured I'd spend the day at home, doing nothing.

Then I got bored.

And Andrew got bored.

In a split decision, we decided to see a movie. We got some movie tickets for Christmas and figured we should use them. We spent a whole five minutes getting ready, ran out of the house and got to the theatre at the exact time our movie was supposed to start. Just to find out that the movie was sold out.

Instead of waiting around to see a different movie, we decided to grab a couple drinks at the new restaurant that just opened up on our street; the drinks were great and the service was fantastic! We were both impressed.

Then, at some point, it was agreed that we should go to Dave and Busters. With friends. So we did.

There, we took awkward photobooth pictures.

And awkward selfies.

And won 500 tickets on Deal or No Deal by "strategically" pressing as many buttons as possible at the same time and saying "no deal" to every offer.

After our fair share of games, we went to a bar to grab food; which wasn't enough food for us, so we got some McDonald's later on (my stomach regretted that the next morning).

Sunday was spent recovering relaxing and eating homemade chicken noodle soup.

I'll hibernate next weekend.

Probably.

I am so over winter now that Christmas is done. It is definitely not as cold here but I am still ready to bask in some sunshine.
