Narcissism Fuels Inspiration?

When I saw that Helene and Sarah were doing a link-up together, I knew I had to join in! Which means that I'm skipping another week of 'That Time I.' Sorry Emily! (For those of you that are new around here, on Wednesdays, Emily and I like to write posts about that time we... did something. Such as got a puppy or went on an awesome cruise! It's not a link-up. It just gives us something to blog about.)

So, what inspires my blog posts you ask? You mean besides you? Yes, you! The one reading this! You're obviously one of my biggest inspirations (yes, I do realise how lame I sound. Whatever)! I love knowing that people read my crap writing (and your comments mean the world to me). Besides you though?

Honestly?

I'd have to say Andrew and our friends <insert cheesy audience like "awwwww" here>.

I'm really lucky to have a boyfriend and friends that actually read this little blog and looks forward to reading it. (Or, so they say.)

What inspires each individual post though? My need to want to document my random adventures. I want to be able to look back on this blog years from now and see what I had been up to. Which explains why my blog seems a bit narcissistic. But then again, don't most bloggers seem that way?

  1. I think all bloggers have a little bit of a narcissistic side, but what's wrong with that? Haha. Wherever your inspiration comes from, it's working for you, so keep doing it! :)

  4. If we weren't narcissistic then would we have anything to write about? I mean we wanna see how hot and drunk we were 70 years from now!

  5. Girl, we are all narcissistic. But the thing that redeems us bloggers is I think that we enjoy reading about everyone else just as much as we enjoy writing about ourselves!

  7. The title says it all, but you know what? I'm ok with that. My favorite blogs to read are the ones where people share their personal stories. I don't like blogs that ONLY post fashion or ONLY post recipes, I follow the ones that are personal and "narcissistic"

  8. I like to think of blogging as a sort of journal (especially since I am TERRIBLE at keeping those damn things...) that, like you said, I can look back on. I don't think you're being narcissistic at all, but I think your honesty just fabulous either way:)
