Taking a page from Amanda, here's a bunch of stuff I'm hoping to do this fall!
via |
1. Go hiking.
I love hiking. I really love hiking in the fall. Leaves changing colours on the trees never fails to impress me.
2. Carve a pumpkin.
I don't know why, but last year, Andrew and I didn't get a pumpkin. That's a must this year!
3. Go to a haunted house.
This is a must every year. I guess I can cross this off the list, since we went Erebus when we were in Michigan, but I wouldn't mind going to another haunted house here!
4. Try a Pumpkin Spice Latte.
I'm pretty much the only person who hasn't jumped on this bandwagon yet. I need to see what all the hype is about.
5.
My brother is ten. His trick-or-treating days are soon coming to an end. I enjoyed taking him out on Halloween when I lived at home, but after I moved out, I never got a chance to. He's also surprisingly popular (I mean for a ten-year-old. Not because he's a giant nerd or anything) and he's usually too busy with his friends for me to go trick-or-treating with him. (By going trick-or-treating with him, I mean, taking him out. I do not plan to actually dress up and try to get candy. Although...)
6. Enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
More on that later. :)
What are you hoping to do this fall?
Ihave never had a pumpkin spice latte, but I have used pumpkin spice creamer in my coffee.
ReplyDeleteI want to go hiking this fall too. Since where I live we get 3 days of nice weather, i want to go then lol Pumpkin Spice latte is good but really sweet!
ReplyDeleteOK, this might be a dumb question, but do you celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada? I haven't gotten a pumpkin in a few years, I should do that one too!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to go on a fall hike! I can't believe halloween and thanksgiving are right around the corner!

Ummmmm I think you should totally dress up and get candy. My step mom is really short and she used to dress right up and go alongside her kids so that her and my dad could eat candy that night. I am not shitting you, she even said thank you in a sweet kid voice. People were like, "WOW.. what a cool costume!" (She was a werewolf and the make up was done super well.)
ReplyDeleteAlina is going to be just about 8 months old on Halloween and you bet your ass we're taking her to all of our friend's houses to get her candy.. BUT- I'm taking her up and down a couple of blocks too. Who doesn't love an adorable baby!? and her greedy ass parents that want a variety of candy goodness. We earned it! I pushed that baby out, my friend.. we get the benefits- guilt free;)
I say, you have a ten year old brother for a reason, USE HIM. Ohhh I scare myself sometimes.
Good list and I think now that you and Amanda have mentioned these Pumpkin Spice Lattes.. I'm going to get one too.
I just had a pumpkin spice latte from McDonald's and it was just as good and half the price of Starbucks!
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet! You can definitely do it :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that Thanksgiving weekend is THIS weekend!
ReplyDeletei bet your brother will love trick-or-treating with you! i can't wait to see your pictures!

1. I have never had a PSL either and I am wanting to try one soon. Knowing me thought I probably won't even like it, ha!
ReplyDelete2. We didn't carve a pumpkin last year either and I am dying to carve one and paint some cute designs on pumpkins this year!!
3. So excited about Thanksgiving! We are having our first annual "Friendsgiving" this year. Woop woop! #bringonallthefood
