Here's my five great moments for this week!
one. Dragons Den. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you would have already seen the full picture. This week, I met most of the Dragons from Dragons Den, which was super exciting. I missed Kevin O'Leary by a minute and, sadly, Arlene wasn't there (who I really wanted to meet).
two. birthday cake. We didn't get to celebrate my birthday at the office on Friday, so we celebrated quickly on Monday. That cake was so good!
three. birthday flowers. Andrew surprised me with those gorgeous flowers and birthday gifts this week, including tickets to see Les Miserables! You have no idea how excited I am to see it!
four. patio. The weather was gorgeous this week! Of course, now it's raining, and starting to get colder. But the last couple of days felt like summer. Andrew and I enjoyed dinner on a patio, probably for the last time in 2013.
five. Misty. The only good that came out of taking the afternoon off, to end up not getting internet, was that I got to spend the afternoon with the prettiest dog in the world. Andrew joined us when he finished work and the three of us had some gelato. Okay, the two of us. Misty didn't want any.
I still don't know how I feel about this song..
Have a great weekend everyone!
Don't you hate it when you switch your schedule around for someone to do something you're paying them for....and then they don't do it?! Sorry about your bad luck!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! And since I'm new around here I have an excuse!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of you with the people from Dragons Den! As a Canadian too, I love that show!
Beautiful flowers, that's awesome he got you tickets for Les Mis! Can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteThat's OK, you're entitled to a day or two off blogging, I take them sometimes. I hate those annoying cable people who say they will be there "between 12 and 6pm" What?! Like I don't have anything to do all day.....
Have you seen Les Miserables before? And that cake looks incredible. I might go pick up a slice of red velvet from the grocery store just because I have food jealousy. x
ReplyDeleteThat birthday cake looks amazing! Now, I kind of want some...and I don't even like cake! Haha. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHey - found you from High Five for Friday and I am enjoying your blog! Happy belated birthday :)
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks soo good! Was it red velvet cake? That's the best.. mmm mmm. How did you get to meet the Dragons!? My husband and I used to watch that show all of the time. Too bad, I love Arlene too!
