When Will It Be Over?

Can you believe it? We're still not done moving. We still don't have home internet either.

Friday.

Remember that really yummy Indian restaurant Andrew and I went to about a month ago? We decided to go again on Friday night. Just to end up waiting incredibly too long for our food and leaving us exhuasted by the end of our meal.

Andrew had a long drive ahead of him as he left that night for his last leadership training weekend for the Canadian Forces. While he spent the weekend sleeping in a tent, trapping wildlife (aw.. run, squirrel, run!) and practicing other survival techniques, I was moving.

Saturday.

I spent much of the day waiting for a friend to come over, as he said he was going to help me move. Unfortunately, he said he wasn't feeling well, so that didn't happen.

I ended up spending the day moving things, by hand, and carrying them two blocks to the new apartment, in the pissing rain, by myself. I was not a happy camper.

Sunday.

Thanks to my dad, I was able to get a little more moving done. But, my dad isn't the strongest guy out there, so there are still a few things left to bring. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel though!

Andrew came home and we shared a wonderful steak dinner.

Steak solves all problems (sorry vegetarians). Or maybe just really good food solves all problems. Man, I love food.

I apologise for the less-than-exciting weekend recap. Exciting things to come next weekend, for sure!

How was your weekend?
