Have I missed blogging? Absolutely.
But something happened over the weekend. Friends came over. Food was ordered. I reached for my phone. My first thought was, "I need to take a picture of this so I can blog about it." Then, I stopped. I put my phone down. I didn't take a picture. Instead, I grabbed a plate and dug in. For once, I lived in the moment. Something I hadn't really understood, or done, before. I welcomed the moment.
Although I'll miss having a personal (and public) online diary where I record all the details of my weekly activities, I think it's time for me to take a step back.
This isn't to say I'm done blogging for good. Chances are, I'll be back with a new blog (eventually). But as of this moment, Let Life Be Like Music is no longer my outlet.

But for now, I shall enjoy more moments.

ReplyDeleteBlogland will miss ya, beautiful! But that doll needs ya more so train and love her and come back when she lets you :P. I, too, enjoy living my life and being in the moment rather than living it for the sake of documenting it--probably why my blog's been a tad quieter lately. But I wouldn't have it any other way!

ReplyDeleteAwww. Such a cute pup. I have also been mostly missing from blogland the last few weeks. I started a second job and I just haven't been able to find a lot of time and energy to blog or even read blogs. I miss it though so hopefully I will find a balance soon. I totally understand what you mean about living in the moments as I have been experiencing this a lot more with my absense as well. Best of luck to you! See ya around Instagram and such. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been taking a break too and I'm not entirely sure I'll come back. It's been nice not blogging. Not that I hate blogging or anything but I don't really miss it as much as I thought I would. I'm pretty sure if I do come back, it'll be with a different blog and different focus. We'll see. Hopefully I'll catch the announcement of your new blog! I still like reading them :)
